Tyler Conn joined Sourcing Insights in 2018 as the Director of Client Development. Through his background in purchasing and outside sales, he’s acquired a wealth of knowledge in multiple industries from all perspectives.
Previously, Tyler served as a Business Development Manager, in the Copper and Brass Sales Division, of ThyssenKrupp Materials, a world-class metal distributor. His leadership led to consistent year-over-year growth within the territory, and earned him the title, “supplier of the year.”
He began his professional journey at 3D Machine, an industrial equipment supplier, assuming the role of Purchasing Manager. In this position, he led the organization’s procurement division, focusing on key metrics such as inventory reduction and just-in-time delivery.
Over the course of his career, Tyler has earned a reputation for his strong leadership skills, outside-of-the-box thinking, and focus on long-term relationships.
